Why isn’t sound coming out?
>> Make sure your volume is turned up, and if you’re using an iPhone that the silent switch is off. Very soft strums may not register, so don’t be shy. If you’re using a first generation iPod touch, remember that you have no internal speaker (Air Guitar sounds best on headphones or external speakers anyway). Finally, if you’re sure you’re strumming correctly, you can try relaunching the app. If that works then please drop us an e-mail, because it shouldn't.
Why did the sound suddenly cut out?
>> This bug was fixed in version 1.4. Updating Air Guitar to the latest version should fix the problem.
How do I play along with my music?
>> If your device has iPhone OS 3.0 or later installed, you can access your music library from the “iPod Library” button on the main menu. If not, you can start your music in the iPod app and then launch Air Guitar. In either case, if you’re on an iPod touch, you can double click the home button to bring up audio controls. If you’re on an iPhone, double clicking the home button can have different actions depending on your system settings, but the default is to bring up the controls just like an iPod touch.
How do I change the level of the music volume with respect to Air Guitar?
>> With a politely worded letter to Apple asking them to allow developers to adjust the volume of their apps relative to the music. If you want to be louder, your best bet is just to strum harder.
Why can I only choose one note in the tuning section?
>> If you want to pick all four notes manually, choose the Custom progression, and the picker will be unlocked. If you choose a preset progression, then Air Guitar will assign the proper notes for you. You can also turn on Advanced Mode to access a full scale
Can I play more than one note at a time?
>> In the default mode if you hold down two frets, the higher one will play. This is intended to keep Air Guitar as fun and easy to play as possible. If you want more flexibility, try Advanced mode to access a larger selection of notes. If you'd be interested in other new features, let us know, and you might get a chance to beta test the next version of Air Guitar.
